Things to Do this Week
Bellingham hosts many different events from Ski to Sea to Marathon’s to Garden Tour’s, but by far my favorite is the Whatcom Artists Studio Tour. Today is the start of the 18th annual event which continues tomorrow, Oct.7 and ends Oct. 13 and 14.
Some of Bellingham’s best artists open their studios to the public. You can see their galleries of artwork, see them at work and what inspires them.
Here is a link to the brochures and maps.
This Hot August Saturday keep cool by stepping on out and getting your taste of Bellingham. Live music, kid’s corner, art walk and of course good eats. Bite of Bellingham has also partnered with Sustainable Connections to provide a almost zero waste envirnonment.
Come join the fun from 12pm-4pm Saturday 8/18/12 where Cornwall Ave. meet Holly St.

Haggen’s sponsors the annual 4th of July fireworks show over Bellingham Bay. Arrive early to get the best seat in the house at Zuanich Park, Squalicum Beach Park, Boulevard Park or anywhere along the waterfront. The fireworks display is awesome every year and can be seen from many different areas.
Blaine/Birch Bay -
Blaine’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July event featuring a pancake breakfast, parade down the main drag, festival, community picnic and live music ends with a Salmon BBQ at Semiahmoo and the perfect location to watch the fireworks over Semiahmoo Bay.
